- The continuous element style of 12″ heat tape is superior to the “panel” version as it offers more even heat distribution and can be cut to almost any length. The Quantity entered is the number of feet desired. Does NOT include wire/clip/insulator set which must be ordered separately if needed. 23 watts per foot. This heat tape MUST be used with a thermostat. We recommend the Herpstat line of thermostats or the new Hobbystat Thermostat. We can also assemble your order to your specifications.
